Rates and Insurance

At Therapy by Rob, we are dedicated to making mental health care accessible and affordable. For clients who are uninsured or whose insurance is not currently accepted, we offer a sliding scale fee structure to help ensure therapy remains within reach.

We are actively in the process of becoming in-network with multiple insurance providers. To see the most up-to-date list of accepted insurance plans in Michigan and Nevada, please visit our Insurance Accepted section.

If we are not an in-network provider with your insurance plan and you would like to explore your out-of-network benefits, we recommend contacting your insurance company and asking the following questions:

  • What are my out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits?
(You may wish to reference the following CPT codes: 90791 and 90837 with the “GT” modifier for telehealth services.)

  • What portion of each therapy session will be reimbursed or covered by my plan?

  • Do I need to meet an out-of-network deductible before my benefits begin? If so, what is the amount?

  • Is there a copay or coinsurance for out-of-network mental health services?

  • Do I need a referral or prior authorization from a primary care provider or another specialist?

  • Are there any limitations on mental health coverage?
(e.g., annual or lifetime dollar limits, session caps, diagnosis restrictions, etc.)
